To ensure the ongoing sustainability of disaster aid initiatives and of knowledge transfer, research and innovation activities, we are launching designated fundraising campaigns through the different partner institutions. Depending on the campaign, funds may be used to support disaster response and recovery activities, provide hardship funds to affected members of the university community or to support research, and innovation projects across the BUiLD Centres of Excellence and across the BUiLD Disaster Resilience Network.
The development of policy guidelines for fundraising is overseen jointly by Universitas Islam Indonesia and Universitas Ahmad Dahlan in Yogyakarta. This framework will articulate guidelines for the launch of local and network level fundraising campaigns and for the allocation of funds.
